Good morning, KIPPsters! It's been two fabulous weeks of rest, relaxation, and rejuvenation. Now it's time to jump back in with both feet and turn over a new leaf--literally and metaphorically! You'll see what I mean...

What we've been up to:
This week (starting on Wednesday), we are starting a brand new module on Sculpture and Form! We've gotten our creative juices flowing through experiment and discovery with our homeroom challenge! Each homeroom took an entire class period to experiment and see how many techniques they could come up with to turn a 2-D piece of paper into a 3-D shape.
(JSU and UTSA TIED in the homeroom challenge, discovering 10 techniques each, and won 10 class marbles each on top of what they earned in class that day!)
This experiment is just a warm-up for what we have coming up! Stay tuned for fantastic, colorful paper art to come!

What's coming up:
In the next couple of weeks, we'll be completing our relatively short Module on paper sculpture. The purpose of this module is to focus on form and space, which we'll be experimenting with more than perfecting. In other words, the coming project is intended to let our Prime Artists push the boundaries of dimension, explore what they can create, and make "happy mistakes" that lead to discovery and development of their concrete cognition skills. Have fun, learn lots, don't worry about how it looks. :)
Good luck on MAP Testing this week, KIPPsters! That's all for now!
It's Prime T.I.M.E!
