Countdown to Christmas Break: 25 days!!
Welcome back, KIPPsters! I hope we all had a fantastic, relaxing time over Thanksgiving Break. (I spent it at a camp with my family, fishing and eating all kinds of delicious goodies!) Here's a look at our goals for the last few weeks of the semester.
What's coming up:

We have two projects left for the semester. First, we will be refreshing the watercolor techniques that we learned before the break:
- Oil-Pastel Resist
- Wet-on-Wet
- Salting
In this project, we will be applying a bit of our color theory knowledge, and we will get to practice multi-media techniques. We will be using masking tape and the ink pens from our first project to create our birch trees.
Our final project will be to create a customized Christmas card for the students to bring home for their families. It will also be a multi-media project, using watercolor, Elmer's glue, oil pastel, pen and ink, and pencil. (My hope is that this particular project will become part of each KIPPster's holiday decor and a cherished keepsake for years to come!)
Keep an eye out for cheerful, colorful artwork coming soon! That's all for now!
It's Prime T.I.M.E.!
