New Year, New Electives!
I am so excited to be able to welcome our KIPPsters to another amazing year at KIPP Prime! This year, I have the privilege of founding the school's new Art program. I was inspired by KIPP's mission (well, one of many!) to involve parents in every step of the education process. This website is my main effort to do just that. These newsletters (posted every other week) are intended to keep parents and students in the loop, as well as show off some incredible student work! :)
Meet the Teacher
My name is Adrienne Barton and I'm going to be teaching Art this year! I am new to the Houston area (and to Texas, for that matter!). I graduated from Louisiana State University with my Master's in Education this May, and moved to Houston in June! (It's been a very busy summer.)
